Last Saturday (June 8) during a usual walk around the town I met a group of Painted Ladies in a small area near a wood, feeding on densely growing red clovers there. I counted as many as 9. They were restless, flying from flower to flower and chasing away butterflies of other species from their territory. And only one calmed down for a while allowing me to get close enough to make the shot 🙂
