Yesterday during a walk along a buttercup meadow I was lucky to find and photograph several Lycaena butterflies, but this fresh and bright male with gorgeous purple spots on its hind wings absolutely captivated me! Not to mention that it was my first sighting of the remarkable Lesser Fiery Copper 🙂 April 27. Skalsko, Gabrovo, Bulgaria.
