Continuing the theme of Swallowtails and lilacs, let me add these two Scarce Swallowtails to their cousin from the previous post, also feeding on lilac flowers. The woody plants definitely started blooming too early last year. As early as the first Papilionidae species took flight. I wonder what the new year will bring.
