Last Saturday I met this wonderful butterfly! Its name is just as beautiful – Erebia alberganus. I found it at 1200 m a.s.l. on a grassy slope where flowers were abundant. I stayed there for almost half and hour and saw dozens of Almond-eyed Ringlets feeding on the flowers. The day was pretty windy and chilling though. July 6, Uzana (Gabrovo, Bulgaria).
