Lycaena Candens
Absolutely stunning specimen of the remarkable Balkan Copper – Lycaena candens! It was easy to spot this male among the high grass while butterflying at 1200 m a.s.l. His unique appearance simply took my breathe away! Plus I’ve never sighted this species before 🙂 July 4. Uzana, Gabrovo, Bulgaria.
