This time the season’s first fritillary got to be the Weaver’s Fritillary. Usually I don’t see them often but that day I feasted my eyes on their abundance! They were feeding primarily on two flower species growing out there – buttercups and purple gromwells. May 8. Skalsko, Gabrovo, Bulgaria.
