This year as well, the buddleia kept blooming till late October. And until its last flowers there always were pollinators feeding on it. The Cardinals usually come in the middle of autumn. Cautiously they chose the upper branches. I think I spent half an hour that day circling around the shrub to take this shot. It reminds me of the warm September days and makes me miss my beloved butterfly bush. <3
