Zira's World

Welcome to my beautiful world!

Aporia Crataegi

Trifolium flowers grow very commonly in our region, and are a precious source of nectar for butterflies in particular. I have a few photos of different species feeding on these flowers. This June I captured the Black-veined White as well at an altitude of 500 m. Noting the brownish lines on the forewings it must be a female. June 23. Skalsko, Gabrovo, Bulgaria.
